The Ultrafide U4PRE represents a pure analogue quad output pre-amplifier crafted for the seamless selection and control of signals from multiple sources. Featuring 5 stereo inputs and 4 stereo outputs, it serves as the central hub and control centre for an expandable and futureproof audio system, ideal for the most discerning Hi-Fi enthusiasts and audiophiles.
Sonically Pure Source Management
Drawing upon decades of expertise from the team at MC² & XTA, the U4PRE achieves ultra-low noise levels – boasting a meticulously crafted signal path design that delivers unmatched performance, offering comprehensive digital control over source selection, gain offset, source naming, L-R balance, and volume adjustment. It also features quad outputs in parallel to allow ultimate flexibility in many different system configurations.
Ultra-Premium Phono Stage
The U4PRE is not just a pre-amp – It also features a highly configurable ultra premium phono input, with an ultra-precise RIAA recovery stage – suitable for use with both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, it offers users an unparalleled sonic experience with an extensive range of turntables/cartridges. Adjustment comes in the form of 8 switch selectable capacitances from 100pF to 470pF, and 7 resistances from 85R to 500R (with an 8th for a 47k moving magnet setting).

The U4PRE offers a true audiophile grade headphone amplifier that will continue to impress and deliver endless enjoyment. Based on an industry leading proprietary MC² Audio class A/B design, it is driven
by 12 discrete transistors to achieve super low distortion and extremely high damping factor. Optimised for 20 to 100R Headphones, but with ample power to drive both low and high impedance loads with
ease.
