Information
The TBV118L is a compact passive 18 "2800 watt front loaded subwoofer ideally suited for a wide variety of speech and music reinforcement applications in both fixed, portable and touring audio systems. The TBV118L is designed to work with LAKE DSP and LAB GRUPPEN reinforcement, providing optimal FOH performance, as well as significant flexibility to easily adapt to various site requirements.
Front-loaded enclosures provide an optimal combination of low-frequency extension, bass articulation, and temporal accuracy for high-impact sound reinforcement applications. For inverted cardioid subwoofer configurations, multiples of three TBV118L enclosures are recommended with two front-facing enclosures and one rear-facing enclosure.
An integral suspension system designed to meet BGV-C1 specifications is provided for hanging or stacking TBV118L and TBV123 elements with a safety factor of 10: 1.
