Simply place the small box together with your items in the case. The silica gel absorbs up to 34% of its own weight in water vapour to quickly remove moisture and keep your case dry for protection.
The silica gel is orange when active (dry). It gradually changes colour from orange to green as it absorbs moisture. Once the silica gel turns green, it is no longer active and needs to be heated to remove the accumulated moisture. This can be done in a conventional oven for 3 hours at 120 °C. Avoid overheating during drying. When the gel beads turn orange again, the box is ready for reuse.
