Information
The CVS 8 is a compact 240-watt ceiling speaker designed to deliver excellent audio performance in both background and foreground music sound systems. The CVS 8 is suitable for a wide variety of applications, from restaurants and hotels to places of worship and all types of businesses. The sound is warm, with a clarity that envelops the listener - without imposing.
The design includes a 200mm (8.00 ") mid-bass driver with a coaxially mounted 19mm (0.75") high frequency section in a vented, paintable faceplate made from UV / weather resistant UL94V-0 ABS material. Mineral-loaded polypropylene cone material and nitrile rubber surround enhance durability and reliability. This compact unit is specially designed for applications that require the combination of excellent sound quality for music and speech reinforcement and exceptional reliability.
The CVS 8 comes with an integral galvanized steel back wall and recessed junction box and meets the vast majority of installation requirements. The removable locking connector has screw terminals for secure wire termination and "loop-through" capability. The strain relief is provided by a clamping mechanism for use with a plenum rated cable or conduit. Safety clamps allow for quick and easy installation, while also includes two tile support rails and a C-ring in the package. A plaster ring is available as an optional accessory.
